 4. The New User Login Page appears. Enter the Provisional ID / GSTIN/ UIN and password sent to your email address.

5.  Type the captcha and click the LOGIN button.

6. Enter the new username and password you want to use to access the GST Portal on the new Credentials page.

7. Re-enter the new password in the Re-Confirm Password field and click SUBMIT button.

8. A confirmation message is displayed indicating that the username and password have been successfully created. You can now use these to log into the GST Portal.

9. You will be redirected to the login page.  Log in using the username and password you created.

10.  When you log into the GST Portal for the first time, you will be asked to submit a non-core change request to enter your bank account details. Click the Change File button.

Note 1:  Adding bank details is an option for TDS and TCS taxpayers

Note 2:  All other taxpayers can only go to add a bank account through non-core amendment. If they have not added bank account details through non-core amendment after 45 days. increase. These taxpayers cannot move to other features until they add their bank account details and submit non-core changes.

11. The application form is displayed for editing, and non-core fields are editable. Click the Add New button to edit details in the Bank Accounts tab.

Enter “New Password”. Re-enter the new password in the Re-Confirm Password field and press the SUBMIT button. The password must be between 8 and 15 characters long and consist of at least 1 number, 1 special character, 1 uppercase letter, and 1 lowercase letter.

7. Then click the Submit button.

You will receive a password by email.

How can I change my mobile number in GST Portal?

There are two methods for mobile numbers. It is based on the total number of authorized signatories of an entity.

(A) If there are multiple authorized signatories or the authorized signatories are not the owner/promoter, proceed with these steps:

  1. Go to the GST website.
  1. Go to Services, and select registration and Amendment of Registration Non-core Fields from the menu.
  1. Select the authorized Signatories option from the dropdown menu. From the dropdown menu, select Add New.
  1. Enter the new authorized signatories’ details, including email address and phone number. Select Save from the dropdown menu.
  1. Select Verification. After entering the required information, check the declaration box to submit the form with digital signature certificates (DSC).
  1. Wait for 15-20 minutes before logging into the GST Portal. To change your registration, go to Services ➜ Registration ➜ Change Registration. Non-essential fields.
  1. Uncheck the box next to the previously authorized signatory in the Authorized Signature tab.
  1. To verify the provided mobile number and email address repeat the OTP process.
  1. After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation message with an ARN number to track its status.
  1. If you see a Changes Approved message, it means that you have successfully changed your mobile phone number and email address.

(B) If the authorized signatory and the partner/director/promoter/proprietor are the same individuals, proceed as follows:

  1. Go to Services, select registration and Amendment of Registration Non-core Fields from the menu.
  1. Select a promoter/partner option. Under Actions, click the Edit button to update the information of authorized signatories.
  1. If you want to update/change your registered mobile number or email ID and click save.
  1. You will receive a one-time password (OTP) on your registered phone number and email address provided. Enter the OTP. The changes made will be saved.
  1. Select Verification. After entering the required information, check the declaration box to submit the form with digital signature certificates (DSC)/EVC.
  1. If you choose the EVC method, an OTP will be issued to your updated mobile number. You will need to enter this to complete the verification process.
  1. After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation message with an ARN number to track its status.
  1. If you see a Changes Approved message, it means that you have successfully changed your mobile phone number and email address.

How to make core field amendments in GST?

The following fields of the registration application are called core fields.

Business Name, (Legal Name) if PAN does not change

Addition / Deletion of Stakeholders

Principal Place of Business (other than State changes) or Additional Place of Business (other than State changes)
