Daljit Singh Dosanjh, known professionally as Diljit Dosanjh, is an Indian singer, actor, film producer, and television personality. He has worked in Punjabi music and then Punjabi and Hindi films. The income tax department has launched an investigation into money laundering allegations against Daljit Singh, actor and singer Daljit Dosanjh.

In a series of tweets opposing the income tax investigation, Dosanji spoke out against the country’s state. He shared the platinum certificate issued by the ministry of finance that year to show that he was a conscientious taxpayer.

Perhaps Dosanjh was immune to the implications of investigations opened against past allegations of wrongdoing simply because of the award of a 2019-20 Platinum Certificate by the IT department.

Dosanjh’s accusations follow an investigation launched by the IT over allegations of diversion of foreign currency to fund farmers’ protests. Speed ​​Records and specific individuals including Daljit Singh, were in money laundering and routing activities to fund anti-farm agitation.

The complaint added that it was unclear whether the two were the same person. But with Diljit Dosanjh going bankrupt on his Twitter and the IT certificate he shared describing him as ‘Daljit Singh’, the person in question could be himself.

Interestingly, another director of FSL Company, Sundip Singh Khakh, is also the manager of actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh. Additionally, Kaka Singh Mohanwalia a.k.a. Sundip Singh Khakh was one of several individuals allegedly associated with Speed ​​Records from 2011 until he is registered under a different name through 2020. As a civil servant, he investigates questionable activities harmful to India’s interests and involves Indians in activities such as anti-CAA riots and farmer’s agitation.

Speed ​​Records, UK was formed with UK director Sundip Singh Khakh AKA Kaka Singh Mohanwalia, a dormant company. Speed ​​Records India owner Dinesh Auluck gave his resignation on August 5, 2013, just one month after the company’s origin. The company subsequently dissolved on September 9, 2014.

The similar fraudulent activity was observed at other shell companies allegedly founded by the suspects. Incorporation of another company Speed ​​UK Recs Ltd was on 21st June 2013. The same Dinesh Auluck joined the company on July 8, 2013. And resigned on July 20, 2013, after just 12 days. This company also dissolved on February 3, 2015.

“This bizarre case of a disappearing company, and the subsequent emergence of its executives in the company, reveals a sophisticated network built with elaborate strategies to deceive government agencies there, as well as fundraising and anti- National and separatist activity in India,” reads the complaint filed by the LRO.

IT department scanned NGO Saanjh Foundation. Diljit Dosanjh received fees for music events conducted by Saanjh Foundation where he has no registration with FCRA to operate in India.

The complaint by the LRO alleges that the NGO’s address is the same as the one by former Deputy PM Sukhbir Badal. Diljit Dosanjh was a vocal supporter of the ongoing farmers’ protests. He donated 1 crore rupees to the farmers’ cause.

Also in 2012, IT sniffer dogs raided the homes of popular Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanj, Miss Pooja, and Gippy Grewal. And the premises of two Punjabi film production companies. They were allegedly associated with Dharam Seva  Speed Records and other shady companies in the UK.

Diljit also participated in and made financial contributions to farmers’ protests at the Singhu border in Delhi. He called on the protesters for patience and peace, adding that they were making history.
