    HOW DOES IT WORK?

    Benefits of Gst

    • Easy Compliance

Since the GST regime in India would require a comprehensive and robust IT system, the development of these technologies would enable the taxpayers to do registrations, returns, payments, etc. online. This would make the compliance easy.

    • Uniformity of tax structures and rates

GST would facilitate ease in doing business throughout the country by ensuring that tax structures and rates are common across the country

    • Eliminating cascading effect of tax

The introduction of a seamless system of tax credits spanning across state boundaries minimizing the cascading effect of tax

    • Improved overall product and service quality

The elimination of hidden costs of doing business would increase the number of players in the economy. As competition increases, the overall quality of market offerings will improve

    • Gain to manufacturers and Exporters

The removal of cascading effect of taxes, and the change in the tax structure will reduce the cost of manufacturing goods and services in India. This will give a boost to manufacturers and exporters as the competitiveness of Indian goods and services in the Indian market will increase.

      • Relief in overall tax burden

Since GST is only a tax on value addition at each stage, the overall tax burden on commodities will decrease, which will in turn benefit consumers.
